The crisis is a teacher.
Never wait to tell someone that you love them because you are not in control of the next time you will see them.
The very thing the virus steals from those it infects is the very thing we all should return to when its impact overwhelms us—the breath. A single, conscious, grateful breath will always improve things.
Never give up. Just as there is tragedy, there are miracles. People are surviving against all odds. You own that possibility as well.
There is no more exceptional example of how to live in this crisis than the collective response of healthcare workers around the world. When your sense of the future feels bleak, pour into others. You will find purpose and even relief there.
In the days ahead, my wish for you is that you remember the upside. May you meet every disappointment, every fear, and every shock with a grounded knowing that there is something you can gain from this experience.
Inhale, and be grateful.
Exhale, and let it go.
May your week be filled with loving-kindness.
